Chelsea Police say two minors injured after they fell from a Ferris Wheel at Chelsea Community Fair (Updated, 12 noon Friday)

UPDATE: Sources have confirmed that the two minors injured in last night's Ferris wheel accident are in stable to good condition. More details to come later

Two people were injured Thursday night after falling from the Ferris Wheel at the Chelsea Community Fair.

The Chelsea Police Department responded to the scene around 8:30 p.m. on a report of two juveniles being injured on a ride. Police determined the juveniles fell from their Ferris Wheel cab.

In addition to the police, the Huron Valley Ambulance, Chelsea Area Fire Authority and two physicians rendered aid to the victims.

HVA transported the victims to the University of Michigan Mott Children’s Hospital in critical condition, Joyce Williams of HVA said Friday.

The incident remains under investigation.
