Real Madrid star player Angel Di Maria is all set to become a Manchester United player after contract talks broke down with Real Madrid.
Reliable reports from Spain claim Angel Di Maria is 100% certain to leave the European giants, and Manchester United are the only likely destination.
PSG were believed to be the most likely destination at the start of the transfer window, but the FFP regulations and the signing of Brazilian defender David Luiz for a mammoth £48m hindered the move. PSG, in order to buy the Argentine, would have to sell a number of players, or Edinson Cavani alone, for a big price, which is very unlikely.
PSG manager, Laurent Blanc, has already told the media that they are not under the right circumstances to sign Di Maria and the move is off.
Manchester United were handed another boost when contract talks between Real Madrid and Angel Di Maria’s representatives broke down. Angel Di Maria is asking for a new contract as we reported a few months ago, and after the arrival of James Rodríguez, the situation got further shoddy.
It is believed that his wage demands are in the region of €8m/year but Real Madrid are only willing to offer him €5m/year. Manchester United have offered the highest wages to Di Maria as they look desperate to make a marquee signing as the transfer window edges closer.
It is reported that several Real Madrid players, especially Cristiano Ronaldo, wants Real Madrid to keep the Argentine star at the Spanish Capital, but now, as it looks like, the time has passed for further talks.

Di Maria, who played a key role in Real Madrid’s record 10th European Cup win, and won Man of the Match award for his remarkable performance, would have hoped for a better role at his current club, but for now, seemingly it’s time for him to move on.
Is Man Utd the right club for Di Maria?
