Why is Same Sex Marriage Wrong?
Someone once said, “Before you remove a fence, you need to ask why that fence was erected in the first place.” I propose that there is a societal and Scriptural fence that was erected by Almighty God about 6,000 years ago. Many in our culture are seeking to tear down that fence which was built by God. The fence that I am referring to is the institution of marriage.Whether it is no-fault divorce laws,
rising out-of-wedlock birth rates, government support of fornication through the welfare laws, or the increase of single-parent homes, the sacred institution of marriage is under attack by the forces of hell itself.
Radical homosexuals, with the aid of Hollywood, the media, and liberal judges, are determined to dismantle traditional marriage as we know it. Is gay marriage wrong? Why is gay marriage wrong? Hollywood indicates that it is okay. Same sex marriage is currently legal in Massachusetts and is on the verge of becoming a legal right all across this country. Before we quietly sit by and allow this to happen, we had better seriously consider what is at stake.

1. Same-sex marriage is totally foreign to the Bible, and to the doctrine of Christ...a. The only marriage approved of God is between male and female
b. All mention of same-sex relationships in the Bible are condemned
2. The sanctity of marriage has long been under attack...
a. Divorce and remarriage for any reason have undermined the institution for generations
b. Same-sex marriage is only the latest attack; it probably won't be the last
For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their woman did change the natural use into that which is against nature.2 Kings 23:3, 7

Redemption of Property
28 But if he is not able to have it restored to himself, then what was sold shall remain in the hand of him who bought it until the Year of Jubilee; and in the Jubilee it shall be released, and he shall return to his possession.
29 'If a man sells a house in a walled city, then he may redeem it within a whole year after it is sold; within a full year he may redeem it.

And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.
Obey God and your life of a traditional marriage will be a sermon to others.
