"Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in His Commandments"
"10:1 Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;
10:2 And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;
10:3 And did all eat the same spiritual meat;
10:4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink:for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.
10:5 But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.
10:6 Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.
10:7 Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.
10:8 Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.
10:9Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.
10:10 Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer." (1 Corinthians 10:1-10 KJV)
As plainly stated in the verses quoted above, the LORD God was later
born as Jesus Christ i.e. "that Rock was Christ." Notice carefully in
the Ten Commandments declaration that it was Jesus Christ who declared
them while identifying Himself in them i.e. "I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt" and "that Rock was Christ."
"20:2 I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
20:4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any
likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth
beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
20:5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve
them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of
the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of
them that hate me;
20:6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. 20:7 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in
vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in
vain. 20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
20:9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
20:10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy
God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy
daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy
stranger that is within thy gates:
20:11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the
sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the
LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. 20:12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee. 20:13 Thou shalt not kill. 20:14 Thou shalt not commit adultery. 20:15 Thou shalt not steal. 20:16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour. 20:17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt
not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his
maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy
neighbour's." (Exodus 20:2-20 KJV)
King David was a truly righteous man (i.e. he was not self-righteous) because he did not reject the Law of the LORD. David knew that the coming Judgment of all of humanity is based upon a choice of obedience of, or rebellion against, the Law of the LORD God in His coming Kingdom (see The Patriotism Prophecy and The Kingdom Of The LORD God).
"112:1 Praise ye the LORD.
Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments. 112:2 His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.
112:3 Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.
112:4 Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.
112:5 A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.
112:6 Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.
112:7 He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.
112:8 His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies.
112:9 He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour. 112:10 The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall
gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall
perish." (Psalm 112:1-10 KJV)
