God So Loved He Gave
John 3:16-18
For
God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that
whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that
the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not
condemned;
but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he
hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Greater Love Hath No Man than To Lay Down His Life for His Friend
John 15:13
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
Herein Is Love That Sent His Son
I John 4:10
Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
God Commended His Love to Us
Romans 5:7-8
For
scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good
man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us,
in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
We Perceive God's Love Because He Laid Down His Life for Us
I John 3:16
Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
God Sent Love, We Must Dwell In Love
I John 4:14-16
And
we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the
Saviour of the world. Whosoever shall confess that‚ Jesus is the Son of
God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. And we have known and believed
the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love
dwelleth in God, and God in him.
Love of God Shed Abroad In Our Hearts
Romans 5:5
And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
Father Loves Us the Same as Jesus
John 17:21-23
That
they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that
they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast
sent me. And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they
may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and thou in me, that they
may be made perfect in one: and that the world may know that thou hast
sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
Father Loves Us Because We Love His Son
John 16:27-28
For
the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have
believed that I came out from God. I came forth from the Father, and am
come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.
Jesus Action Was To Destroy the Work of the Devil in Our Lives
I John 3:8b
For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
He Became Our Sin, We Are Now Righteous
II Corinthians 5:21
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
God's Love in Us Shows Forth As We Extend Ourselves to One Another
I John 4:11-12
Beloved,
if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. No man hath seen
God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his
love is perfected in us.
God Laid Down His Life for Us, We Must Do It for Our Brethren, Then We Know We Are of The Truth
I John 3:16-19
Hereby
perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and
we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoso hath this
world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his
bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? My
little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue: but in deed
and in truth. And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall
assure our hearts before him.
Jesus Died That Others Might Live
John 3:16
For
God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that
whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
As You Receive the Gift, So Give
I Peter 4:10
As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
