The Mega
Millions jackpot for Friday’s drawing jumped to $400 million after no
players matched all six numbers drawn Tuesday night.Five players, two in Ohio and one each in Connecticut, Massachusetts and New Jersey, matched the first five numbers drawn Tuesday – 5, 12, 22, 41 and 65 – but not the Mega Ball of 13. Those players won $1 million each.
If a single player matches all six numbers in Friday night’s drawing and chooses the cash option, he or she will receive a one-time payout of approximately $216 million before taxes.

The jackpot for Wednesday night’s Powerball multi-state lottery is $122 million.
