Healing through Developing Unchanging Faith In Prayer

Healing through Prayer
One of God’s name’s is Yaweh Rapha which means I AM the LORD who heals you. God is omnipresent; He is everywhere, all of the time. He is Holy, righteous and merciful; a Shepherd, our Saviour, and also our Healer. God’s heart is full of compassion. Healing originated with God; at the beginning of the Bible, He healed people. It was His nature, He loved to do it.

Genesis 20:17 (KJV)
“So Abraham prayed to God; and God healed Abimelech, his wife, and his female servants.”
Healing is part of God’s plan of redemption. Sickness in God’s good world is like weeds growing among wheat. But make no mistake – God did not sow the weeds. In the parable of the sower we read:
Mathew 13:28 (KJV)
“An enemy (satan) has done this”
God sent Jesus,
Acts 10:38 (KJV)
“who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.”
It was the Creator’s declaration of, the sabotage of His good work, by the devil! People are ill and God is unhappy about that. God heals naturally through the planting of cures in nature, which medical research keeps finding. But the God who heals naturally also heals supernaturally. Scripture denies that sickness is God’s will, and it credits healings to God alone. Today, His hand touches far more people than many realize. Throughout the world, many supernatural healings take place every day,  which proves;
Hebrews 13:8 (KJV)
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.”
Jesus is the answer to your healing. Jesus died for the remission of sins and through His suffering we are healed: spiritually, emotionally, mentally and physically.  It seems clear from the following three scriptures that healing is something that happens because of the stripes Jesus endured when He was beaten and whipped at the whipping post, before going to the cross:
1 Peter 2:24 (KJV)
“Who His own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree (the Cross), that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.”
Isaiah 53:5 (KJV)
“But He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.”
Matthew 8:16-17 (KJV)
“They brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a Word, and healed all who were sick, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: ‘He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses’.”
People living in the days of Jesus’ earthly ministry possibly thought of Jesus more as a Healer than anything else. He set out to heal, that was Jesus. Healing was a major part of His mission and Jesus said,  God sent Him to do those very works, after He healed the man at the pool of Bethesda, on the Sabbath Day.
John 5:17 (KJV)
“My Father has been working until now, and I have been working.”
His earthly ministry was a demonstration of what He is. It was meant to encourage our faith. We can expect healing because Jesus brought the powers of heaven to people on earth. Healing was a major part of Christ’s ministry, and Jesus still heals today!  People get sick now just as they did then. Jesus knows that this is the case, which is why we have the four Gospels to tell us what He did about it. It is all there full of significance, for our hope and comfort. It can only mean one thing – Jesus still heals today!  We read that,
Hebrews 13:8 (KJV)
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.”
Jesus is alive, just as ready to heal now as He ever was. He is
Malachi 4:2 (KJV)
“The Sun of Righteousness… with Healing in His wings”
What Jesus was, He is – constantly and forever.
In order to create trust in God, the Bible gives us healing story after story.  In one such case, a leper bowed down in worship to Jesus and asked Him,
Matthew 8:1-2 (KJV)
“Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.”
That is the crucial question for many people today. Will GOD do what He can for me? First, we need to know that He can. God is ‘the Almighty’. God is Awesome!
In,
Jeremiah 32:27 (KJV)
“Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?
God calls Himself, the God of all flesh. Therefore, God can heal flesh! So He can, but will He? The following two scriptures give us the answer. In
Matthew 8:3 (KJV)
“Jesus put out His hand and touched Him, saying ‘I am willing; be cleansed’ And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.”
Matthew 8:5-7 (KJV)
“And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him, and saying, Lord, my servant is lying at home paralysed, dreadfully tormented. And Jesus said to him, ‘I will come and heal him’.”
Those two powerful words ‘I will’ reveal God’s heart. Christ’s words never pass away. His ‘I will’ is God’s Amen to all our hopes and prayers. These words are the key to God’s promises to bless the world. God’s ‘I will’ includes His will to heal.
In the matter of healing God still says ‘I will.’ Some people say, “I was prayed for and not healed, so it is not God’s will.” The logic here is so wrong; there could be many other reasons why they were not healed. Not being healed has nothing to do with the will of God! God does not change His mind – not just for you!! You may not be healed, although it is certainly God’s will for you to be healed. Healing comes in response to faith, need, and most assuredly the will of God. God’s will is not always done, which is why Christ taught us to pray “Your will be done.”
Jesus said that,
Luke 18:1 (KJV)
“men always ought to pray and not lose heart”
Many sail in such shallow waters of faith their keel grinds on the gravel all the way to glory!
If you feel that you lack faith, do not worry, you can get faith,
Romans 10:17 (KJV)
“faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.”
Read the Word of God out loud again and again. Cast your doubts away, repent of unbelief, change your mind and pray for your healing with all your heart.
For Jesus said,
Matthew 11:28 (KJV)
“COME to Me, ALL who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
COME to Me, ALL you! This means everyone, including you and me – no one is excluded. Because Jesus Christ has not changed, nor has the power of His word, miracles will happen today for all of us. The number one dynamic, the Word of God – actually produces number two –  the dynamic of faith. Remember, Faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.
Every scripture healing testimony is like God saying to us:
Malachi 3:10 (KJV)
“try me now in this.”
When we look at the healing ministry of Jesus, we must also recognise the vital connection we have with it:
1 Corinthians 3:16 (KJV)
“we are His body on earth today.”
Therefore we must show the same compassion for healing that we have seen through the scriptures and in our own experiences of the Lord Jesus.
We ALL can receive Divine Healing through prayer. Many thousands upon thousands of people have recovered as they prayed or as they were prayed for. God always hears your prayers. Sometimes God does not give you a direct and personal reply, but sends the answer through the ministry of one of His servants. The gifts of healings (1 Corinthians 12:9) are for that purpose. The gift of healing is not a commission to heal everyone, but only such as the Holy Spirit gives a manifestation for.
A PRAYER FOR YOUR HEALING…
Now if you are in need of prayer for healing. We ask that as you read the Healing Prayer below; we ask that you look upon the face of Jesus Christ as you are praying, and while you are doing this, place both your hands upon your heart, name the affliction that needs healing, and pray to God, Your Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth for your healing, with all your heart. And know that through this anointed prayer which we have written, that through God’s eyes, we are also with you in prayer for your healing.
As the scripture says,
Matthew 18:20 (NKJV)
“for where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them”
And know that God is going to heal you then and there. As Christians, we believe and also know and know from personal experience that God heals through prayer, and that God can do what no earthly power can do. God can do it but we must have faith, and believe and release our faith. And remember YOUR point of contact for YOUR healing faith; is to look upon the face of Jesus, placing your hands upon your heart and praying with all your heart for your healing.
Faith in Christ Jesus is faith in the power of God. Let your faith go to God; let your hands upon your heart, be as His hand, as an extension of His hand. Let’s really believe today, let’s really believe and let your faith go to God. This is a time when God will stretch out His hand and do something for you. Believe in God, have faith in God’s healing power, exercise that faith, put it to use here today. NOW! Simply trust in God, believe and it will be done, for through this Healing Prayer we are asking God to perform a miracle in your life today. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Amen and Amen.
Healing Prayer

I pray Heavenly Father, that through your beloved Son Jesus Christ, for He is the LORD that heals me; I pray, please heal me of this affliction. (Name the affliction) I pray that You will take sickness away from the midst of me. Now, I will cry out to the Lord and believe that He will heal me. For by His stripes I was healed. O God, You are The Lord who heals all diseases in the name of thy Holy child Jesus; every sickness must bow its knee, and flee from Your glorious presence, Lord Jesus. Stretch forth Your hand now O Lord and heal me. I can feel you Lord in my heart and upon the crown of my head is Your Hand. Heal me and make me whole until I am healed from the crown of my head to the souls of my feet, Almighty God. For I will fear not; but trust in You and let my fear and dread be only of You. I will from now on fear only the Lord and shun evil for this will bring health to my body and nourishment to my bones. May my healing spring forth speedily. As Jesus said “Go your way; as you have believed, so let it be done for you” For He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses. I will go in peace and be healed of my affliction. May God bless me and make it so, in the name, in the name of the Almighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Amen.
One final word: but now to the great and most important truth Jesus Christ came to save us from our sins!
It is one thing to receive healing for your body, but our Lord Jesus Christ came to do so much more. To heal you and redeem you in spirit, soul and body. As we have learned healing was made possible by the stripes Jesus endured when He was beaten and whipped at the whipping post, before going to the cross. Christ died on the cross to bring us the far greater blessing of our salvation, the forgiveness of our sins and peace with God. He is not only our Healer, but our Saviour.
For Jesus said, in
Matthew 18:8 (NKJV)
“It is better for you to enter into life lame or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet, to be cast into the everlasting fire.”
Mark 9:43 (NKJV)
“It is better for you to enter into life maimed, rather than having two hands, to go to hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched.”
Mark 9:47 (NKJV)
“It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes, to be cast into hell fire –”
To accept healing, but reject Christ is disastrous. In fact millions of people are never healed because they reject the Healer. He does not send healing. He does it Himself. It is better to be saved than to be healed. Even better still is to have both: to receive Christ Himself, as your Saviour and your Healer.
For,
Romans 8:32 (NKJV)
“How shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?”
Dear friend, if you have come to this site today as someone who didn’t have faith in Jesus Christ, and through the reading of this bible study, Healing through Prayer, have found that you believe, that you can see the truth in what is written; and you have found a stirring within your heart, of desire to know the power and presence of the Living God in yourself and your life, through His beloved Son Jesus Christ, and you have found a desire within yourself for change in your life. Then we urge you NOW!, do not delay, as it is written “now is the day of salvation”.  You even today, by giving your life to The Lord, you can begin to see the change that He can affect in your life, and the vision and the purpose you can have in life, in the midst of battle and in the midst of trial and the midst of the good times, the whole sense of His grace pervading everything that is our lives. Then now is the time to reflect on that and to seek His face and know at this moment to ask Him to take that place in your heart, to be your vision and your Saviour; that the Ruler of all, will at this moment become the Ruler of your heart.
Now, dear friend read out this prayer written below, it is called “The Sinners Prayer”.  Countless millions over the last 2000 years have prayed this prayer or one similar to it, and all who have prayed it with a sincere heart, have been received by God as one of His children. As Jesus said in
John 6:37 (KJV)
“and him that cometh to Me I will in no wise cast out “
And also as it is written,
Romans 10:13 (NKJV)
For, “whoever calls on the name of The Lord shall be saved”

The Sinners Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, I come to you in the name of your beloved Son Jesus Christ. I come with all my sins, burdens, and addictions. Wash me now with the precious blood of Jesus shed on Calvary. Break the chains of sin and satan in my life and family. Mark me with your precious blood. I want to be yours; spirit, soul, and body – for my time on earth and in eternity. I put my faith in you alone, Lord Jesus Christ. You are the Son of the Living God. I believe with all my heart what I now confess with my mouth: You are my Saviour, Lord, and God. Now I am born again – a child of God. I believe it and receive it in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Now that you have prayed this prayer, you are now a child of God. “Congratulations!” you have just made the most important decision of your life! You have invited Jesus Christ to become your Lord, Saviour and Best Friend. Now you belong to Jesus, and Jesus belongs to you. He will be your Provider, your Protector, your Healer and your Master. The Bible says that you have now been “born again” into the family of God.
God has given you a new heart,
Ezekiel 36:26 (KJV)
26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a new heart of flesh.
Old things have passed away; all things have become new,
2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV)
17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
You have passed from death to life,
John 5:24 (NKJV)
24 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.”
and the life you have inherited is eternal – both in terms of its duration and supreme quality. For it is the abundant life of Christ, and it is yours NOW!
Let us share with you three things you need to know:
First, every sin has been completely ABSOLVED. That’s right! Washed away by the Blood of Christ! Now you are as righteous as you will ever be. In fact, you are as righteous as Jesus Christ Himself because He has clothed you in His own righteousness. For
Isaiah 54:17 (NKJV)
their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord.
Secondly, you have been ADOPTED by God because of your faith in Jesus. You are now part of the family of God and His Holy Spirit has come to take up permanent residence in your heart!
Galatians 4:4-7 (NKJV)
But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!” Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
And finally, you have been ACCEPTED by the Beloved, Jesus Christ. From this moment forward, you are in a loving relationship with Jesus Christ. He wants you to know Him and love Him more dearly than your closest loved one or friend. Please take the time to read our other Bible Studies – How to Live as a Christian Part 1 and How to Live as a Christian Part 2, that you may fulfil the scripture to

Ephesians 6:4 (NKJV)

“but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.”
