Uncertain: Nasri admits his City future is unclear
Samir Nasri has claimed he will leave Manchester City if he is no longer wanted. The Frenchman admitted before their Champions League win over Bayern Munich last month that he and his team-mates were playing for their futures.
And Nasri insisted Manuel Pellegrini's side are better than Roma and should beat the Italians on Wednesday night to reach the knockout stages.
But
the ex-France star told French TV station beIN Sports his future is
unclear. "I do not know if I will leave the club," said Nasri, who
joined from Arsenal for £25m in 2011 - and signed a new five-year
contract this summer.
"If they come to me and they tell me to pack my bags, I will leave."
Nasri, 27, insisted City must not succumb to the pressure of staying in the Champions League in the Italian capital.
"If
we play our game, we will win against Roma," he said. "The greatest
risk is to play with pressure and to have this apprehension. If we don't
ask questions, and we play our game, then we will do it. We have more
qualities.
"If we are eliminated from the Champions League, this is not the fault of the coach, it is the players who are on the pitch". In pictures: Manchester City vs Everton

Nasri retired from international football in August after being left out of the World Cup squad.
He
was also dropped in 2010 - where the France squad infamously went on
strike - and was involved in a row with a journalist at Euro 2012.
"I
retired, it is not a question of age - it is a question of feeling," he
said. "Today, it's sad to say, but the France team does not make me
happy.
"Of course, I responded to the provocations of a
journalist, there was also the story of the bus in 2008 (with William
Gallas and Thiery Henry).
"But I was more abused than someone who went on strike in 2010. I am a human, I have an ego and a personality."
Will Nasri still be a City player this time next year?
